Some Poems Become A Roar
It is the whispering that gets under your skin
The itch that won't be scratched
The insistent roar
Of truths
It is reaching out from the heart and
Grabbing by the throat
Shaking you up
Making you think
Joining the dots together
You are left so cold
you'll not get warmed
The world will be topsy turvey
and you'll be deafened
By the insistent roar
Of truth

I hear you, and sometimes, it does feel that way!
Beautiful!
Who wrote it? YOu?
Shout it out via a poem is a good way of clearing the mind. :)
Hi Sera Yes it is one of mine Have a good day
I loved your poem. Sometimes I've found silence can be deafening too.
