I am going to die

I am going to die
Climbing up a mountain
Swimming in the sea.
Doing Something dangerous
Will be the end of me.

I won't stay -- won't linger
Surrender breath by breath.
I would rather rush
Toward my impending death.

To depend on others' mercy
To be a burden or a curse
S'not my idea of of living.
I can think of nothing worse

So I am going to die
